KEMA Consulting is a globally operating consultant in the field of transmission and distribution of electrical energy. The current liberalization trend in the energy supply industry requires energy companies to adopt new processes and ICT applications, to be able to adapt optimally to competitive market structures and make efficient use of the expensive infrastructure. KEMA Consulting’s ICT Practice adapts to these changes through consultancy and innovative technical IT solutions.

Tasks

You will be contributing to complex and high-grade implementation of EMS/Scada applications in the energy industry. This involves a combination of:

• Developing Functional Specifications

• Supervising a (European) tendering procedure

• Supplier selection

• Supervising implementation

• Supervising the acceptance test and acceptance of the application delivered.

You will be working in a project team or individually on our clients’ international orders. You will translate new insight into useful first-of-a-kind solutions for the energy supply industry, co-operating closely with the client. In our team you will be helping us with continuous innovation of our services and your challenge will be to find solutions to highly complex issues.

What we're asking

(Professional) University Degree in Energy Technology. Knowledge of EMS/Scada systems for the energy industry. Experience in specification, selection, implementation and acceptance of EMS/Scada solutions and experience in consultancy to clients in the field of EMS/Scada will be considered a plus. Willingness to travel abroad will be considered a plus. You are a creative and passionate professional. You know how to formulate your ideas within our team. You can empathize with our clients’ wishes and translate these into suitable IT solutions.
